چکیده
The present study investigated the dietary impact of dried olive pulp (OP) on growth performance, gut health and some welfare behavior characteristics broilers. It was conducted in a commercial poultry farm using 108 13 day-old Ross male Chickens were equally randomly assigned to 3 treatments, CON, OP3 OP6, based incorporation rate OP ration (0%, 3%, 6%, respectively). A beneficial foot pad dermatitis (FPD) feather cleanliness OP-fed broilers recorded. No adverse effects qualitative evaluated overall performance chickens observed. significant differences fecal microbiota population observed among groups. Changes β-diversity an age-dependent way only feces across all age groups mainly dominated by phylum Firmicutes (62.3 95.1%), represented genus Lactobacillus (32.9 78.2%), Proteobacteria (2.0 35.6%), Actinobacteria (1.5 11.4%). Supplementing broilers’ diets with 3% 6% beneficially affected chickens’ without compromising their health.

Insights into Broilers' Gut Microbiota Fed with Phosphorus, Calcium, and Phytase Supplemented Diets
Phytase supplementation in broiler diets is a common practice to improve phosphorus (P) availability and to reduce P loss by excretion. An enhanced P availability, and its concomitant supplementation with calcium (Ca), can affect the structure of the microbial community in the digestive tract of broiler chickens. Here, we aim to distinguish the effects of mineral P, Ca, and phytase on the compo...
متن کاملPhotosynthetic characteristics of olive tree (Olea europaea) bark.
Functional and structural characteristics of corticular photosynthesis of sun-exposed bark of olive tree (Olea europaea L.) were examined. Stomata are only sporadically present during stem primary growth. Light transmission through the phellem was age dependent, decreasing rapidly in stems older than five years of age. Light transmission was also low in pubescent 1-year-old stems. Light transmi...

Our objectives were to compare the effects of sources of supplemental N on ruminal fermentation of dried citrus pulp (DCP) and performance of growing steers fed DCP and bahiagrass (Paspalum notatum) hay. In Exp. 1, fermentation of DCP alone was compared with that of isonitrogenous mixtures of DCP and solvent soybean meal (SBM), expeller soybean meal (SoyPLUS; SP), or urea (UR). Ground (1 mm) su...
متن کاملThe Major Qualitative Characteristics of Olive (Olea europaea L.) Cultivated in Southwest China
Olive trees, originated from Mediterranean, have been cultivated in China for decades and show great adaption to local environment. However, research on this topic is limited. In this study, the major qualitative characteristics and changes of olive grown in southwest China were investigated. The results showed that oil accumulated during fruit development and reached its maximum value when fru...

This study was carried out on olive trees cv. Amygdalifolia, to investigate the effect of spraying potassium nitrate, KnO3, and zinc sulfate, ZnSo4, on the fruit weight, dimension and volume. The plants were sprayed with 0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% KnO3 and 0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75% ZnSO4 and their combinations in August about halfway through the fruit growth period. The highest fruit weight was observe...
